The soccer delay set the timeline back and has made local roads an even worse obstacle course . . . Check-it:
"Kansas City drivers who use Interstate 70 should prepare for daytime lane closures throughout the workweek. Crews will close lanes on I-70 near 27th Street from Monday, Aug. 10, through Friday, Aug. 14, as work continues on the Cleveland Avenue bridge over the interstate, according to the Missouri Department of Transportation."
