Last weekend a deadly shooting along the streetcar extension line sparked more concerns about threats to passengers.
Meanwhile, on a happy note . . .
The public transportation system announced it has officially surpassed 20 million riders since its operations began in 2016, with 3 million passenger trips recorded since the beginning of 2026.
Accordingly . . .
The security update might not reassure many TKC readers but, at least, shows us that transit leaders understand some of the risks . . . Check-it:
