Kansas City Starts Downtown Royals Bidding At 20 MILLION BUCKS Without Voters

"Kansas City is preparing to set aside $20 million toward the development of a new downtown ballpark, signaling the city is advancing negotiations and agreements with the Royals over its role in supporting the project. Councilman Kevin O’Neill on Thursday introduced a proposal to enter various agreements with the Major League Baseball team as negotiations over a public funding package for the planned $3 billion transformation of Crown Center into a ballpark district."
