A 16,900-pound steel beam pulled from the World Trade Center stopped at the National WWI Museum and Memorial Wednesday on its way back to ground zero.
The big picture: Kansas City is one of more than 35 stops on a 10,500-mile tour carrying the steel back for the 25th anniversary of 9/11.
