A spate of deadly violence across the metro this weekend reminds us that hard fought progress in reducing the local homicide count can quickly evaporate.
Notice that the level of violence hasn't really slowed down as MSM records a late night deadly shooting that killed a woman near a KCK bar.
Accordingly . . .
At this rate it looks like we'll move past 100 homicides this year and, even worse, a great deal of the "spillover" impacts neighboring cities.
