Quick tidbit for locals that watch the KCMO council closely . . . 

A recent social media ruckus earned the attention of many Kansas City voters and the exchange offers a glimpse at "affordable housing debate" from the local level. 

Translation: Free housing is now the demand amongst KC elected leaders. 

Here's the word and our highlight .  . .  

"In 2022, I knocked doors to pass the first $50 million Housing Trust Fund bond. 

"In 2026, I pushed for an amendment to increase our HTF from $75M to $100M . . . 

"I’m against runaway incentives and incentives without financial analysis.

"Yes, I want to socialize housing as a public good."
