Kansas City Councilman Crispin Defends Royals New Stadium Deal

Like it or not, a reality check for the plebs . . .

The unions are behind this one but they've grown too lazy to defend themselves in public.

The Heavies and all their cash are on board as well.

Most of the KCMO civic elite and all of the downtown lawyers are also supporting the new stadium.

Councilman Crispin is on the winning side and making his case despite activist and FB group opposition.

Here's what he had to say . . .

"After the Kansas City Council approved $600 million in funding for a new Crown Center ballpark on Thursday, Councilmember Crispin Rea called the deal a major accomplishment for the city. It will hold the Royals to $55 million over 30 years for community improvements, but some community groups say that's not enough — and want a public vote."
