Chiefs Fans Remain UNCONVINCED As 'Stop The Chop' Efforts Persist

Eventually . . . The "arc of history" shows us that the team will abandon their Native-American motif that's becoming harder to defend year after year . . . 

Again we advise a dispassionate view and remember that it wasn't until about the early 1980s that many American cities dropped outright racial slurs for team names. 

However . . . 

For now many boomers are thankfully still spry and they hold onto the Chiefs moniker as if they're clinging to life. 

Meanwhile . . . 

The arguments against the team name FAIL to garner traction but remain persistent. 

Here's an update that we missed earlier in the week . . .  

Capitalizing on the World Cup, the Kansas City Indian Center put out even more billboards this year calling on the Kansas City Chiefs to change their name and stop stereotypical practices like the “tomahawk chop.” Activists argue that the move to a new stadium is the perfect opportunity to address the longstanding complaints.
