Kansas City Car Theft Spike Sends Insurance Rates Skyrocketing

"Why don't we talk about how crime affects the insurance rates that everybody in Missouri, especially in the Kansas City area, has to pay for car/home insurance. It's one of the highest in the country. The lack of crime control has earned Kansas City the name of Killa City. You have your car stolen the police just tell you to call your insurance company. People occasionally get lucky and the somebody finds their stolen car before it's destroyed.

"The harsh reality is till the crime problem is fixed by harsh prosecutions. It's not going to change. It's only going to get worse."
