On July 23, the Kansas City Council authorized up to $500,000 in emergency repairs from the Housing Trust Fund. Those repairs were to be refunded by the landlord through a lien on the property . . . According to a letter distributed to residents late Wednesday afternoon, the repairs will be made. The city sent an emergency order listing what has to be corrected. The new property manager, Rubicon Realty LLC said, agreed to the list according to the letter.
