Insiders remind us that tinkering with the prosecutor's office or any aspect of Jackson County's judicial infrastructure is typically frowned upon and impossible without the support of the Legislature.
And so . . .
The first part of Stacy Lake's campaign platform might just be empty talk that has been politely ignored.
In fairness, a recent video offers her explanation of her goals . . .
"My name is Stacy Lake and I am running on a policy-based platform to truly reform and modernize the Jackson County Government. Let's start a new era for Jackson County. Vote Stacy Lake for Jackson County Executive on November 3, 2026."
