THERE WAS A GREAT CROWD AT STACY LAKE'S POST-PRIMARY FUNDRAISER LAST NIGHT!!!
Feds will likely read the transcript later today but we've got a few notes to share for right now . . .
- Classy locals called it a "rogues' gallery" of local political power players.
- TKC is silly so we imagined something more like that wedding scene from The Godfather or maybe an extended look at the Mos Eisley Cantina.
- Like it or not, "momentum" and about 70 years of history favor Stacy Lake to win the general election.
- Corporate power players made an appearance in ways that were not-so-subtle.
- However, local political watchers also tell us that it's more important to witness the people who DIDN'T want to party with the primary winner.
