Insiders Warn Against Jackson County Crystal Williams Comeback

Another #TBT tidbit that might resonate for our old school readers.

First, let's offer some exceptionally polite context . . .

"Crystal Williams is a public policy professional and Democratic politician who served as a member of the Jackson County Legislature in Missouri from 2011 to 2023. In 2016, she made history as the first woman elected to chair the legislature. During her twelve-year tenure representing District 2 At-Large, she focused on progressive advocacy, successfully championing initiatives for prescription drug monitoring, predatory lending restrictions, minority business equity, and children's services."

Accordingly, here's the word . . .

AFTER HER ENTHUSIASTIC ENDORSEMENT OF EXEC-ELECT STACY LAKE, INSIDERS DREAD THE RETURN OF THE ALWAYS COMBATIVE CRYSTAL WILLIAMS!!!

 Here's the word . . .

"I don't know why Stacy Lake would listen to someone so bombastic but the idea that Crystal would be a part of this new administration is a sure sign that the new team doesn't know what it's doing."

More deets . . .

"Stacy Lake might already be starting out with a huge mistake if she decides that she owes Crystal so much. Crystal has proven destructive to everyone around her and the only thing she's good at is picking fights, she's only influential amongst her small group of Facebook followers and she's not somebody who deserves to return to policymaking."

As of now, www.TonysKansasCity.com has a few questions in to the new Exec about this her plans going forward and we'll see if we get an answer . . .
