Hard Time Consequences After Conviction For Killing Lenexa Mum & Auntie

"Pleaded guilty back in May to two counts of second-degree murder. He was originally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

"On Feb. 12, 2025, officers with the Lenexa Police Department found two women dead while responding to a welfare check around 5 a.m. at a house on West 90th Street, just west of its intersection with Lackman Road. Someone called 911 to report that the victims had been shot.

"Documents say Luke Howard had blood on his clothes and admitted to Liberty police that he killed his mother and aunt, saying he killed his aunt “because she had evicted him from his house.”
