"Dispatchers indicated that they received a 911 call just after 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, reporting a dead body at a residence near N. Kimball Ave. and Northview Dr.
"When officers arrived, they said they found a deceased man believed to be in his 60s. A preliminary investigation determined his death was not due to natural causes.
"Police noted that they are investigating the case as a homicide. A suspect has been taken into custody."
