Answering Questions About Jackson County Exec Contender Stacy Lake Voting Record

On social media, there has been a great deal of speculation about Stacy Lake's voting registration in the aftermath of an surprising victory.

Our problem has been the willingness of social media "citizen journalists" to put her home out there for public view . . . We're not going to do that . . . And instead of speculating . . . We took a moment to run a couple of questions past her team.

Here is the answer that's better than mostly unchecked social media angst . . .  

"The address listed as Stacy Lake's voter registration is her residence, which is currently undergoing renovations. The image of the home, like you mentioned, is out of date as it was taken in April, and any suggestion that she registered to vote using an address that is not her permanent domicile is false."
