Yet Another Costly Kansas City Waldo Burglary Spree Exposed

Surveillance cam footage helped an ongoing investigation as more south side biz reports brazen crooks breaking windows, targeting cash registers and showing little regard for the impact on the neighborhood.  

Here's the word . . . 

"Police are now saying several burglaries at small businesses in Waldo, including a coffee shop that opened just a month ago, appear to be connected.

"Apparition Coffee in Waldo opened June 19 and was burglarized on Sunday, July 19, at 3:30 a.m. Security footage shows someone breaking into the shop by throwing a brick through the glass door, stealing the cash register and walking out. 

"Just 45 minutes before the burglary at Apparition, another burglary took place at Fritz’s Meat & Superior Sausage. Security footage from there shows someone breaking through glass windows, stealing cash registers and walking with a distinct limp."
