Show-Me Senator Schmitt Seyz 'Time For 350K Haitians To Go Home'

We'll stipulate that this power move probably has a great deal of support in Missouri even if there aren't any Haitian communities around here . . . 

We understand the undertones of the flex even if the language is not-at-all racially charged and adheres to tougher border control politics that BOTH SIDES have supported. 

But let us pose a question, again, given that it's very clear Senator Schmitt will benefit from this bold and so very brave crackdown on LEGAL immigrants . . . 

IS IT POSSIBLE THAT TOUGH TALK AGAINST IMMIGRANTS CORRESPONDS WITH RISING FUEL PRICES, HIGHER INFLATION, ROUGH MAGA POLLING NUMBERS AND GOP DIVISION AMID THE ONGOING WAR WITH IRAN?!?

And are we certain that booting Haitians in Florida is more important than affordable healthcare to Missouri voters?!?  

These are reasonable questions that we ask not to provoke but merely because the answers might tell us a lot about that level of discourse we'll see amid upcoming elections . . .

U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) took to the Senate Floor to block Democrats’ attempt to extend Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for more than 350,000 Haitians living in the United States. Haitian migrants originally received TPS following the 2010 earthquake to allow migrants to remain in the United States for up to 18 months; TPS has since been extended nine times. The Supreme Court recently cleared the way for President Trump’s termination of Haitian TPS. Senator Schmitt made clear that American workers and communities will no longer be forced to pay the price for Washington’s sixteen-year lie that “temporary” means permanent.
