"Criminal proceedings will continue in the shooting case against a Wyandotte County woman who is running to represent Kansas’ 35th District. Wyandotte County District Court Judge Michael A. Russell on Wednesday denied candidate Lisa Walker-Yeager’s motion to dismiss the charges against her, which include aggravated battery and unlawful discharge of a weapon in city limits."

Lisa Walker-Yeager is running to represent District 35, which includes northeast Wyandotte County, in the Kansas House of Representatives.
