Just a quick update, confirmation and a few more deets . . . In the aftermath, amid a great deal of support for the family there's some info that the gunfire was "out of character" as friends share shock.

"Bieniemy's wife was shot multiple times inside the family's home in Ashburn, Virginia, on Sunday night. Loudoun County police confirmed an individual was hospitalized with "serious injuries," and ESPN reports that person is Mia Bieniemy.
"The 57-year-old was shot in the arm and chest; she is in stable condition, ESPN reports.
"The incident occurred close to 7:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, with Eric in Missouri for Chiefs training camp at the time.
"Mia Bieniemy called 911 herself after the shooting, Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman told ABC 7 News on Monday, adding that there were no prior incidents at the home that were known to police."
