"Seven Kansas City bus routes that received boosted service during the World Cup are returning to normal frequency and hours, and thousands of daily riders could face deeper cuts if additional funding is not secured.
"The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority has warned that without new funding, seven additional routes could be suspended entirely. Among those at risk is the 25-Troost Local, which serves nearly 1,500 average weekday riders."
