"Kansas City Royals captain and catcher Salvador Perez connected on the 317th home run of his career on Wednesday, tying Hall of Fame third baseman George Brett for the most home runs in Kansas City Royals history.
"The record-breaking home run from Perez came against the San Francisco Giants in the 7th inning on July 22 to trim the deficit to 3-2. The 2-run blast went 437 feet."
