Summer temperatures and tempers heat up this afternoon . . . Here are the basics:
"At about 4:12 p.m., officers responded to the sound of shots fired near 55th Street and Blue Ridge Cutoff. When officers arrived, they found a crashed vehicle with a man inside who had been shot. The victim was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition, police said."
