Historic homes with and impressive buildings are plentiful throughout urban Kansas City, but tragically, the structures are either underutilized or vacant and decaying over time because crime keeps investors away.
Renovating a home is hard enough under the best of circumstances . . . Give the 1986 classic The Money Pit a re-watch for a fun look at all the things that can go wrong.
Even worse for locals, bringing new life to a building in a war zone is too much to ask of most residents.
