Prediction: Kansas City Housing Trust Fund Will End In Disaster

This is actually a safe bet because longtime locals have been through this a few times before . . . 

Already the cash for housing isn't promising much will mostly preserve the status quo. HOWEVER, history has show us the money will not-so-magically disappear with little community benefit or new dwellings. 

However . . . Locals will have to watch closely given that the evidence that this scheme works is what we DON'T see . . . Check-it:  

Kansas City today approved $24.5 million for housing and neighborhood investment across Kansas City — $16.4 million from the City's Housing Trust Fund for 16 housing projects and $8 million from the Central City Economic Development (CCED) sales tax fund for 10 projects in the city's urban core. These projects will create 907 housing units. Of these, 746 will be affordable, making up over 80 percent of the total.
