"In a riding lawnmower at Grain Valley South Middle School when investigators said he ran over an unexploded firework at about 7 a.m. detonating it.
"The small explosion brought the Grain Valley Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms to the school . . . The explosion was loud, so he went to get his hearing checked."
