KCK Shiesty Bank Robber Suspect Admits Drug Abuse Amid Hard Times

First . . . It's important to define terms: 

Shiesty can mean someone is untrustworthy and dishonest or self-centered and greedy. Or, it can be slang for a balaclava ski mask ski mask. 

Also . . .

It's our contention that the current age of mass surveillance precludes bank robbery as anything but a self-destructive criminal endeavor. 

Actually, it's easier, has a higher threshold for success and far more socially acceptable to buy a bank and steal every last cent front it than to commit any kind of violent crime. 

Nevertheless . . .  

Here's part of a sad but familiar story wherein the alleged crime almost seems like a cry for help. Thankfully, nobody was hurt . . . Here's the backstory . . .     

"(He) initially denied it, but then admitted to committing the bank robbery, according to court records. He stated his daughter died in late 2024, and he has been struggling to handle the grief, using marijuana daily as a coping mechanism, court records say. He stated he also occasionally uses cocaine and mushrooms. 

"He told detectives he does residential gutter installation for a living and business has been slow. (He) stated money was tight and he fell behind on the car payments for his Ram pickup, which is the only vehicle he has that runs, according to court records."
