Kansas GOP Guv Contenders Share Sketchy Life Lessons

Whilst we have great respect for many conservative ideas . . . Here is a political truism that we can back up with one election return after the next:

Republicans are weak on public education.  

The party rhetoric is mostly hostile to academia and often regards primary & secondary education teachers and administrators as the enemy which creates unnecessary divisions within neighborhoods and communities. 

Accordingly . . .

It's nice to see the some of the latest GOP contenders take a more reasonable tone and offer insights for improvement that a progressive news oulet is sharing today . . . Check-it:   

"The three Kansas Republican gubernatorial candidates eligible and in attendance at a televised debate Thursday agreed the state’s public schools had plenty of funding to operate successfully but were mired in inefficiencies that harmed student learning."
