When asked about businesses not seeing the numbers they were told, KC2026 CEO Pam Kramer said they prepared businesses the best they could. 

“We tried really hard to help people understand what types of businesses would be impacted and what type wouldn’t,” said KC2026 CEO Pam Kramer.

She said it’s not just about the short-term economic impact this summer, but creating a name for Kansas City.

“We go after bigger things. We lived up to our ambition. And I think that is something that people were concerned about before. I heard it a lot in the two years leading up to it,” said Kramer.
