Kansas City Suffers Cappuccino Decline

For the record . . . We try not to pay much attention to social media if only because it's all rigged, mostly irrelevant and really seems like more a psy-op directed at people with weak minds. 

However . . .

With help from BEST & BRIGHTEST & KICK-ASS READERS we're often able to share a rare gem that deserves broader consideration out of the clutches of pudgy tyrants planted by local government. 

Accordingly . . .

This local coffee critique is a nice way to start the day if only because it's probably just another symptom of the male loneliness epidemic . . .  

"5+ years ago there was a strong 3rd wave coffee scene in KC with places like Second Best and Quay. Now it seems like much of the city has converged on traditional foamy cappuccinos instead of the smooth, microfoamy caps that you find at the better coffee shops around the U.S. Folks also very inconsistent with 6 oz cap vs 8 oz flat white and vice versa.

"You now have to pay very close attention to the cup size and have a conversation with the barista to understand what you're going to get and then it's a major gamble still . . ."
