Actually, this has happened a few times but the outage REALLY lasted a couple of hours and the toy train PR machine wasn't able to deny it . . . Check the ensuing spin . . .

Crowds near East 45th and Main streets temporarily impacted KC Streetcar service
RideKC notified residents and visitors Thursday night about KC Streetcar service being temporarily suspended because of crowds near East 45th and Main streets. It was suspended for roughly 30 minutes.
