Kansas City Porta-Potty Story & Dearth Of American Mental Health Resources

Watching this story evolve was interesting if only because commentators had a rough time walking the thin line between highlighting the sensational and ignoring the obvious. 

Of course . . . A dude inside the business end of a porta-potty on a humid summer day spend the imagination spinning. 

However . . . Let's be clear and acknowledge the uncomfortable fact that neither news nor social media scumbags want to mention . . . 

This story is also about a desperate dude who seemingly decided that he had nowhere to go but inside a toilet. 

There's not much mention in the story about resources for the guy or assistance for what is likely issues he going through . . . From the description, it seems like he was hosed off and allowed to go on his way.

Think about that next time you're tempted to get in a confrontation with a stranger. 

Here's one more local report that's a bit more responsible than most . . .  

"The man could be seen climbing through an extended opening in the toilet that KCFD made in order for the him to safely get out before being hosed down by fire crews."
