Kansas City July 4th Fireworks Fair Warning

Don't worry . . . This isn't about the silly public safety message from police & politicos that never really influence anybody.

PLEASE, be careful out there.

Now, here's a word about treatment . . .

Doctors at The University of Kansas Health System’s Burnett Burn Center say they’re preparing for an expected increase in patients by using a “Fast Track” process designed to speed up care for fireworks injuries.

With Fast Track, a burn center provider responds directly to the emergency department to evaluate injuries immediately, according to the hospital. Hospital leaders say the goal is to help patients get treated and, when possible, discharged more quickly—as long as the injury doesn’t require admission.
