"A flash flood warning has been issued for parts of the Kansas City metro early Friday as thunderstorms sweep through, bringing heavy rain. The National Weather Service issued the warning shortly after 5:10 a.m. for Johnson, southern Leavenworth and Wyandotte counties. The warning is in effect until 8:15 a.m."
