Friday flashback . . .
What we thought was interesting about this story was how many social media denizens stood up for the guy and didn't think he should lose his job.
In fact, again, many viewers opined that the driver's intonation suggested he was "from the hood" and thereby deserves a pass.
Obviously . . .
Arguing for the freedom to use racial slurs at work is nearly as silly as the current era of mass surveillance wherein everybody is recording in desperate search of personal gain.
Check-it . . .
"A FedEx driver is no longer working for the company after a Ring camera captured him using a racial slur during a delivery to a Kansas City real estate office.
"The incident happened Wednesday afternoon at Murrell Homes Real Estate Group. The driver arrived with a package, and when no one came to the door immediately, he made a comment that was recorded on the office’s Ring camera.
"The driver has not been charged with a crime, and FedEx has not released his name."
