Kansas City Democratic Socialists Announce Recruitment Milestone

Like it or not and with respect to NYC daredevils who have inspired all manner of dumb social media images . . .

The numbers of this cowtown collaborative continue to rise . . . We remember when the local chapter had no more than a half dozen members and were mostly just a bunch of scumbag addicts-in-training with bad tattoos and a penchant for smacking around old school liberals . . . NOW . . . Their membership is comprised of highly motivated young people who didn't get a graphic design job and CLEARLY aren't satisfied with gig work . . . 

On the other hand . . . 

Real talk . . . These Gen-Z activists are already making an impact on local politics and have access to council members, local state reps and a notable cadre of candidates currently running for office. Ignore our snark, for denizens of the KCMO discourse . . . It might be time to take them seriously IF ONLY because the Midwest voter REACTION to the movement might, yet again, lead to another Missouri Dem losing sweep.
