As of Tuesday, the CDC reported nearly 7,000 people nationwide may have cyclosporiasis, an infection that can cause weeks of severe diarrhea . . .
The current cases in Kansas and Missouri are some of the lowest in the nation. Data shows that the state of Kansas has anywhere from 11 to 30 confirmed cases, Missouri has 0 as of Tuesday, July 14. Michigan has the highest number of cases between 500-900.
