"These properties have burned countless times and it’s time for Kansas City to demolition them. 

"Collectively, WE (the #KCMO and Jackson County - Missouri) have let this affordable housing stock be ruined by an out of state owner. 

"The County needs to lead on these issues, protecting valuable multi-family units that we desperately need to curb our affordable housing crisis. 

"We can do better, we MUST do better than allowing blighted properties like this to continue to plague our neighborhoods."
