Sixteen Republican state representatives, in a letter to the governor, want Kehoe to convene lawmakers to examine concerns about large-scale data center projects.

Lawmakers said those concerns include demands on electrical infrastructure, water supplies, roads and land use.

The request comes as data center proposals continue to emerge across Missouri, including in the Kansas City region, where some projects have sparked public opposition and legal challenges.
