Report: Driver Positive For Cannaboids After Deadly KCMO Crosswalk Crash

Legal weed has changed the public safety game in many ways as drivers seem just a bit more distracted.

Here's the tragic aftermath of one story . . .  

Charged with one count of second-degree involuntary manslaughter. The charge carries a potential sentence of one to four years in prison upon conviction.

According to court records, Kansas City police responded June 5, 2025, to a fatal crash at East 31st Street and Prospect Avenue . . . Toxicology results showed the driver tested positive for cannabinoids, the records state.
