Prosecutors Reveal Horrific Deets After 93-Year-Old Kansas City Woman Killed

"Investigators said the victim was found with a shower hose wrapped around her upper body and a sheet covering the bathroom window. Detectives also found what appeared to be blood in the bathroom doorway and on clothing near the bathtub.

"The Clay County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the death was a homicide. Authorities said the victim suffered multiple apparent stab wounds to her head and neck and showed signs of strangulation.

"During the investigation, detectives learned Reeves had been identified as a suspect in separate property damage and arson incidents that occurred on June 8 near the victim’s home.

"According to court documents, a witness in the arson case reported Reeves was heard saying, “If I can’t have a place to live, neither can you,” before walking away from the scene.

"Family members later told investigators that a credit card was missing from the victim’s wallet."
