Progressive KCUR Confirms New Digs On Country Club Plaza

Local donation media suffered a recent downgrade after the city college booted them out of a busted old building. 

Their new space is small and not so historic . . . Also, non-profit setting up camp might give us a hint about the future of the Plaza overall.  

Either way, here's the note and a quick reminder that one of our readers was WRONG about a move to a nicer location and CLEARLY thinks to much of our hipster betters . . . Check-it: 

"The stations have been without a permanent home since the University of Missouri-Kansas City ordered all tenants out of their longtime office space at 4825 Troost Ave. at the beginning of 2026.

"KCUR and Classical KC will move into an office on the Country Club Plaza, after the University of Missouri-Kansas City signed a two-year lease for the space on Tuesday. The lease begins June 15. UMKC holds KCUR and Classical KC’s broadcast license."
