ALDI: Located at 39th St and Prospect Ave, this discount grocer is about 1.5 miles southeast.

Midtown Market: An international grocer located at 3967 Main St, about 1.5 miles west.

One of midtown Kansas City’s only grocery stores has permanently closed as of late June. Near the intersection of Troost Avenue and Armour Boulevard, handwritten signs proclaim “Save-A-Lot is CLOSED Permanently.”
