Senate President Ty Masterson is calling for a full investigation after whistleblower footage caught Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools officials scheming to hide student gender transitions from parents.

"Parents, not bureaucrats, raise their children," said Masterson. "These officials got caught on camera plotting to deceive moms and dads about their own kids. It's deceitful, it may be illegal, and it demands a look. Today, I've raised it directly with the Attorney General, and offered my support for a full investigation."

As Senate President, Masterson banned DEI in higher education, kept boys out of girls' sports, and ended transgender procedures for minors, overriding Laura Kelly's vetoes to do it.
