Organizers tout any involvement in the Summer heat and during vacay fun times . . . Check-it:  

"One of the biggest differences, outside of turnout, was organizers trying to increase awareness and concern for an upcoming constitutional amendment vote.

"The proposed constitutional amendment on the Aug. 4 ballot would reform judicial selection by letting residents elect Kansas Supreme Court justices."
