KCFD Rescue Apartment Fire Victims

A glimpse at weekend heroics . . . 

"Firefighters saw smoke and flames burning in the apartment when they arrived on scene. Two residents had managed to make it outside, and firefighters rescued a third person who was still inside.

"Firefighters quickly got the fire under control. EMS took a man, a woman, and a child to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The woman also had burns."
