KC Developers Quietly Dump 'Streetcar Lofts' Despite Toy Train Hype

This is a pretty standard opt-out that didn't garner much attention . . . But it should.

Why? 

MONEY TALKS LOUDER THAN MUNICIPAL HYPE & IT'S CLEAR THAT EVEN THE MOST SUCCESSFUL DEVELOPERS ARE MOVING AWAY FROM THE TOY TRAIN STREETCAR?!?

 Of course there are other issues in play and we should remember a simple fact of life . . .

MOST STREETCAR DEVELOPMENT HAS BEEN TAXPAYER SUBSIDIZED!!!

This puts more organic biz at a disadvantage and creates a climate where too many hands out has a way of disincentivizing anyone who wants to run a REAL biz.
