Kansas City World Cup Chameleon Shooter Suspect Still At-Large

In this post we attempt to answer or at least address some local social media confusion . . .

The trending question:

Why are two mugshots of the suspected Kansas City highway shooter so different?!?

Easy answer from a cop friend of the blog . . . Lighting changes and photos taken at different times.

Another reply sent our way:

The drastic differences in the mugshots of the Kansas City highway shooting suspect, Oscar Sanchez-Munoz, are due to variations in his age, facial hair, hairstyle, and lighting between the older bookings and the most recent photos circulated by law enforcement.

Members of the public and online forums have noted that the photos make him appear significantly younger or older, but police and community members confirm they are all the same individual.

And so, here are a few more updates along with fear that KC danger persists this weekend . . . Check-it:

Officers want to find 22-year-old Oscar Sanchez-Munoz. He's considered armed and dangerous. Police urge anyone with information about Sanchez-Munoz should call 911.

The FBI is offering up to a $25,000 reward for any information that leads to the arrest of Sanchez-Munoz.

Tips can be left at the Crimestoppers TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.

Kansas City, Missouri police say Sanchez-Munoz is the suspect in five shootings that happened on June 16 between 6 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
