Kansas City Suffers World Cup JAIL FAIL?!?

Credit to local progressives . . . They're attempting to keep up with 12th & Oak lies but maybe not getting the whole story . . .

The reality is: Police wanted a jail facility ASAP and the World Cup was merely a convenient excuse. 

Accordingly . . . Whilst the World Cup hasn't caused much trouble . . . Putting a rush order on the jail might not be a horrible idea. 

For extra fun: What public radio is doing in this post is attempting to claim that KC doesn't really need more jail space . . . A premise that's patently false. 

Either way . . . The report is worth a peek . . .  

All 1,100 Kansas City police officers are on duty, there are cops from 11 states helping and KCPD's three helicopters are constantly in the air. The city has been mostly peaceful.

Remember all the worry about Kansas City not having enough jail space during the World Cup?

Turns out, so far, it hasn’t been needed.

Kansas City is halfway through World Cup festivities with two games at Arrowhead Stadium under its belt, and only a couple of people have ended up in handcuffs.

“Two people thus far have been arrested, each for disorderly conduct,” Kansas City Police Department spokesman Capt. Jake Becchina said.
