Apropos for Sunday considerations of reconciliation . . . Here's an alternative perspective on how reparations might work for locals from a Black/White perspective . . . Meanwhile, I'm just guessing the TENS OF THOUSANDS of Latinos, Asians and so many other immigrant friends in this cowtown are just supposed to watch quietly, patiently and humbly from the sidelines . . .
Here's the word . . .
"So giving a few people a little money isn’t going to fix much of anything. What must be done instead is to redesign or repair economic and social systems that are currently designed to keep people of color down. And so far it’s unclear that white America understands that or has the will to do anything about it, even though, in the end, whites also would benefit from a repaired nation in countless ways."
